The Role: Provides support in the handling of legal matters and all aspects of contract process. preparation and databasing. This position is responsible for supporting the flow of the agreements and other documents handled by the Department. Expertise in all Department applications.
Provides support for legal transactions. Responsible for securing, preparing, drafting, and processing legal documents, including reviewing, formatting, finalizing and summarizing customer and vendor contracts.
Responds to requests from inside and outside the Department for information regarding the processing and status of agreements. Data entry of relevant information in the various applications used by the department.
Provides support for resolution of day to day matters including research of contracts, third party issues, post-termination rights, audit rights, general legal research, etc.
Assists in the creation, formatting and management of standard and customized forms. Ensure compliance of pertinent administrative procedures by Legal personnel to maintain consistent formatting of contracts; Work with Legal personnel in creating, updating and revising boilerplate/form agreements as needed.
General administrative tasks including: Organizing and maintaining files; copying documents; ensuring consistency with respect to filing such as the network drive; creation of standard letters, footers, etc. Process T&E reports for attorneys, and maintain record of corporate card statements and payments. Organize meetings and conferences; schedule conference calls; prepare PowerPoint presentations.
May assist in corporate, intellectual property and trademark matters. May maintain books and records of legal entities. Supports completion of regulatory filings and disclosures.

Demonstrates and applies a broad knowledge of field of specialization through successful completion of assignments. Successfully applies complex knowledge of fundamental concepts, practices, and procedures.
Identifies problems and supports the solutions based on practices, existing precedents or procedures.
Works within own team and interacts with other teams.
Bachelor's Degree preferred or equivalent education and experience.
Minimum and Preferred Experience/Skills
3-5 years of experience in a law firm or corporation in the area of of practice.
