Associate Director – Salesforce Lead Analyst

 

The Role:  You will be responsible for designing, developing and aligning strategic goals and objectives with key decisions regarding Salesforce.com products and business solutions. The ideal candidate will manage and deliver components of engagements that include analysis of current state business process and technology, process and functional design, future state prototyping and architecture for Salesforce.com

  This is an opportunity to work within the Advanced Sales Analytics group that is responsible for prototyping new products and deploying leading edge technologies and sales tools to provide sophisticated data-driven prospecting, metrics and actionable intelligence.

 

The Team / The Business: The team is composed of self-sufficient senior technologists who are capable of rapidly prototyping and developing ideas. The team will leverage principles adopted from the Lean Startup methodology to constantly iterate on ideas and pivot as required.



Your Skills:
 Automation, Reports & Dashboards (Workflow vs Process Builder vs Code) on Salesforce.com; Sales Cloud; Service Cloud; Salesforce1; Force.com; Dataloader; and Zuora.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with sales, marketing and other counterparts to understand business processes

  • Design, develop and align strategic goals and objectives with key decisions regarding Salesforce.com products and business solutions

  • Develop a Salesforce implementation strategy for the business unit based on a situational awareness of various business scenarios and motivations

  • Collaborate across business segments to find opportunities and showcase ideas in the Innovation and emerging business pipeline

  • Gather requirements and recommend solutions leveraging Salesforce.com (strong bias toward native Salesforce functionality).

  • Translate business needs into solution architecture requirements

  • Experience leading agile development teams to design and implement innovate solutions with a focus on adhering to standards and best practices

  • Provide advice on best practices and approaches to technology teams and internal business clients
  • Use common web service technologies--REST, SOAP, JSON, etc.--to bring data into and out of Salesforce 

  • Strong technical and functional proficiency in Salesforce.com performing tasks such as: security settings, workflow rules, reports and dashboards

 

Qualifications:

  • B.S. degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, MIS or equivalent combination of relevant work experience and education

  • Experience in business analysis and technology implementation in enterprise environments

  • Hands-on, in-depth experience with Apex, VisualForce, SOQL/SOSL, Force.com IDE and Force.com Ajax Toolkit
  • Experience in integrating with REST/SOAP API’s

  • Experience implementing or administering Salesforce Automation software in enterprise environments including identifying business requirements, collection of use cases/user stories, process design, testing, training and implementation support

  • Strong expertise in at least two of the following areas is required:
    • System Implementation, Change Enablement & User Adoption

    • Salesforce.com Sales Force Automation

    • Salesforce.com Service & Support

    • Salesforce.com Communities and Mobile

    • Salesforce.com Force.com platform development

  • Strong project management, problem solving and troubleshooting skills

  • Certifications are a plus: (Salesforce Certified Administrator; Certified Sales Cloud Consultant; Certified Force.com Platform App Builder)
