The Role:

Director - Marketing Programs

 

The Location:

CHN-Beijing

 

The Impact: 

The Director, Marketing Programs has the responsibility for developing, executing and analyzing tactical marketing programs for his/her regional markets, Develop and implement tactical regional marketing programs by working closely with Portfolio Marketing, Investor Outreach, and Mass Outreach.

Responsibilities: Develop and implement tactical regional marketing programs by working closely with Product Marketing, Investor Outreach, and Mass Outreach. This includes:

  • Develop regional marketing programs that are fully aligned to MFD objectives by working closely with the MFD and regional teams
  • Become the expert in identifying the most effective channels, creating targeted and segmented programs and linking programs for full effectiveness in achieving objectives
  • Plan and execute marketing and communication programs and activities to generate engagement, retain existing clients, and help strengthen the Ratings brand.  Tactics include online and offline marketing channels such as: webinars or events
  • Create and maintain local briefs that can be shared with key stakeholders summarizing objectives , strategy, key messages, key offers and timing  
  • Taking specific responsibility for tracking spend by program/ activity and manage to the allocated budget
  • Ensure activities are completed on time and performance measured, and be able to articulate the measures as they pertain to business goals
  • Understand and navigate the SFDC to understand the progress of a program from a sales perspective. Includes pipeline development, pipeline acceleration, close/won ratios etc.
  • Ability to lead planning meetings to establish shared vision for marketing and communications Programs with key regional stakeholders
  • Implementing internal communications that keep key stakeholders up-to-date on individual programs and activities.  Attend and actively participate in regular regional  meetings as required
  • Managing, oversee, enable, drive and deliver on the Investor Value Program in the particular jurisdiction/region. This includes working with the analytical teams, formulating a strategy for each investor segment for fulfilment through various modes, analyzing, prioritizing and recommending activities through meeting reports filed to decipher relevant trends and opportunities. Also, reporting results by maintaining and communicating dashboards to help monitor progress and enabling tactical shifts, as needed
  • Write and create messaging / copy in Mandarin
  • Design, author and execute across social media such as wechat
  • Write copy and post across full range of marketing platforms


Professional Experience/Basic Qualifications:

  • Strong  B to B marketing experience 
  • Proven ability to design and implement activities involving integrated multi-touch programs that involve the marketing of thought leadership assets along with a problem/solution approach
  • Expertise in balancing the desires of the stakeholders with the needs of the Ratings business and the specific objectives associated with the marketing programs
  • Knowledge of marketing products/services to the industry a plus
  • Experience within complex matrix structure  often involving global stakeholders in various departments
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills and comfortable communicating at many levels
  • Excellent organization and planning skills with an ability to manage multiple projects, delivering each on time
  • Bachelor’s degree required
