A  Solutions Delivery Associate Director will monitor the product/program/project across various initiatives in the S&P Global Ratings division.

They will design, develop and manage activities for solution delivery project initiatives which represent an incremental increase in value to the business but are in line with existing business processes and operations.  This would include business case, solution definition and planning through build, test and deployment to production and end of life. Serves as the central resource with design, process, manufacturing, test and quality as an IT Solution moves to production, user adoption and value realization.

A Solutions Delivery Associate Director will have above average skills matrix scores which they would look to develop to advance within the role, they will be advanced or expert in 25% of the core skills and be capable of coaching SD Analysts to improve their skills matrix scores in a quantifiable way.

 

Key Roles & Responsibilities

  • Define project KPI's to track business value commitments defined during project initiation.

  • Provide direction and guidance on reports and analyses and ensure recommendations are aligned with customer needs and capabilities.

  • Utilize standard procedures and policies when selecting methods, techniques, and evaluation criteria for obtaining results through IT solution delivery.

  • Lead staff through the definition of IT solution that meets project targets measured by KPI's.

  • Develop, define and execute project plans, schedules, budgets and deliverables.

  • Review and analyse complex, integrated project data and information to provide status updates, insights, conclusions and actionable recommendations.

  • Sign off on IT solutions to business problems.  Including non-functional requirements.

  • Act as the conduit and escalation between App Engineering and Business Stakeholders.

  • Present documentation to process, controls and ratings governance committees.

 

Functional and Business Knowledge

 

  • Operate as the conduit between business stakeholders and the various IT groups (App Dev, QA, Architecture)

  • Project Management skills

  • Think of the problem we are trying to solve, come up with a solution and identify the implementation timelines

  • Process Map the current and future state process, get agreement with the stakeholders before building a solution

  • Partner with key stakeholders to provide transparency into the project

  • Own the business process and ensure enhancements, incidents are managed in a proactive and timeline manner

  • Experience with CRA3, Dodd Frank regulations and working with regulatory bodies like ESMA, SEC is preferred

  • Contribute to the achievement of Project Management and IT objectives.

  • Work on issues where analysis of situation or data requires review of relevant factors.

 

Minimum and Preferred Education

  • Bachelor's degree; Master's preferred

 

Minimum and Preferred Experience/Skills

  • 8+ years of related experience, including some managerial experience

  • Experience with CRA3 regulations and working with regulatory bodies like ESMA, SEC preferred.

  • Experience with Agile delivery is also preferred
