Marketing Operations Manager – S&P Global - London
The S&P Global Ratings Marketing Operations Manager will be responsible for the readiness of the M&FD function to succeed. This will include all functional measurement, and process and planning ownership in addition to management of the marketing database and any tools used by strategic marketing.
Producing, managing and streamlining M&FD planning and processes to ensure we are a “well oiled engine”
Management of the marketing database and ensuring that our contact strategy is compliant with all global and local laws.
Management of all tools used by strategic marketing, planning and analytics.
Producing dashboards and reports for all of the M&FD function that let us know how we are performing against goals and outcomes
Producing insight from the dashboards on how we can further improve or areas that need attention.
Making and executing recommendations to improve the operational effectiveness of M&FD
Owning the annual planning, budgeting and reconciliation process for M&FD
- Manage event and third-party list uploads into Marketing Automation Platform
- Mentor and educate users on operational best practices e.g lead routing, lead scoring
- Manage technical aspects of key marketing automation and CRM systems
- Recommend improvements to existing systems and processes and research new

Professional Experience / Qualifications:
Proven marketing operations experience in a B2B environment
Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Computing or equivalent Strong commercial, analytical and operational knowledge
Experience of streamlining processes
High degree of common sense
Good influencing skills
Good stakeholder management skills
Comfortable with ambiguity and experience in making the opaque transparent
Expertise in creating and analyzing data to provide actionable insight
Excellent numerical ability and skills
- Systems and process driven
- In depth knowledge of marketing automation systems, preferably Salesforce, Marketo and other online analytics tools and technology
- Strong written, communication and collaboration skills
- Good technical ability
- Strong understanding of digital marketing
