The Role:  This position supports the marketing department with infrastructure, data and privacy initiatives.   The position is responsible for maintaining daily tasks, which affect data quality and customer privacy.


The Impact: The Marketing Operations Specialist role is responsible for providing support within the Marketing technology and data environments, which are the backbone to the winder global Marketing team.   The tasks and projects contained within this role, have a major impact on the success and failures of Marketing and the organization as a whole.


The Career Opportunity:  Act as the liaison between internal customers and Marketing Operations, on issues relating to technology and data in the areas of: (1) Application supports/Administration, (2) Data quality/cleanse, and (3) Customer/corporate privacy.

  • Support marketing by monitoring and maintain customer privacy and request.  Activities include, but are not limited to: (1) Maintain Marketing Ops email box for unsubscribes and additional customer email communications, (2) Implement monthly reporting for given tasks, (3) Establish and maintain documentation for current and new responsibilities, and (4) Problem-Solving.
  • Assist in creating and maintaining a proactive and positive environment between Customer Support, Sales, Marketing and other departments that will have occasional interactions.
  • Support Marketing with Marketing Resource Management tool daily tasks.  Activities include but are not limited to: (1) List uploads, (2) List builds, (3) List scrub, and (4) Contacts integration.
  • Manage and deliver special projects assigned by leadership for the benefit of the Marketing department.
  • Monitor and support the ON24 webinar system.  This involves error identification and advising appropriate individual for resolution.
  • Monitor, collect and report on information gathered from Marketing Operations and Web Editorial emails boxes.
  • Create process documents for new and existing processes as needed.
  • Identify and resolve data quality issues within multiple processes and systems.
  • Identify root causes and problem solves application issues.
  • Interact with 3rd party vendors as needed.
  • Cover other team members work when needed.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.



  • Have college degree in Information Technology or equivalent technology related degree with 1 or more years of technical working experience.
  • Must be fluent (spoken and written) in English language.
  • Confident, patient and concise to be analyze and troubleshoot technical and data issues.
  • Self-motivated, ability to work on own, within a team and under pressure.
  • Possess technical knowledge to support and assist both internal and external customers.
  • Excellent time management skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office package. 
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Access, including subtotal, Vlookup, pivot table, etc
  • Ability to learn new software applications.
  • Strong troubleshooting mindset, able to think outside of the box to get issues resolved.  
  • Exceptional listening, written and oral communication skills
  • Intermediate Oracle/SQL/database knowledge desirable.
  • Knowledge of Business Intelligence and Data Analytics tools a plus such as Tableau, Alteryx, Microsoft.
  • Knowledge of Marketing Automation Software a plus such as Eloqua Marketing Cloud or Marketo.
  • Intermediate experience with any ETL tools is a plus.
