As a Senior Analyst with global responsibility, you will have the opportunity to liaise with global counterparts within Learning, as well as the Ratings business.  Depending on the trajectory you choose, you could have a career path that spans into Learning, Human Resources, or potentially operations in the business.  Additionally, S&P Global has four unique businesses under its umbrella, which further opens the doors of opportunity to other areas of the firm within HR, or Operations.

The Senior Ratings Learning Analyst acts as the Operations Manager and deputy for the Learning Operations Director.  The Operations Learning team is a brand new group within the organization.  With global responsibility and regional oversight, this person will be a key player in the department’s mission to act as one global operations team to market, deliver, and provide insights, analytics, and reporting on all learning activities offered to S&P Global Ratings in an efficient, seamless, and cost effective manner.

Essential Accountabilities:

  • Digital Platform & LX Operations Lead:  Act as our lead and subject matter expert for the LX (Learning Xchange/LMS) to provide insight and recommendations into most efficient sets up for integrations with other digital platforms, as well as general learning set ups in the LX. 
  • Supervise the Learning Operations Coordinators globally and have oversight for the operation to ensure that the learning set ups are being done consistently and efficiently.
  • Responsibility for Vendor Management:
    • Manage vendor relationships, handling all on & off boarding for vendors by following the firm’s VRM (Vendor Risk Management) process
    • Ensure that vendors understand our internal process with regard to contract set up, all the way through to invoice submission, payment, and reconciliation
    • Build strong relationships with our VRM team, as well as Procurement
  • Manage the marketing and communications for launches of Learning initiatives
  • Responsible for all global policy and process surrounding Ratings Learning initiatives, liaising with Legal and Compliance counterparts as required.
  • Track costs hitting the budget, providing regular reporting and updates against plan, working with Finance and the Buying Center as needed.
  • Track and report on Ratings Learning Box support levels for each service provided by Ops, broken down by: Learning Requests and Set ups, Vendor Management, Competence Tests, Credit Hours, and general inquiries.
  • Oversight for global team SharePoint, organizing the site to make it easy to find information, as well as keeping it relevant and up to date through leading periodic cleanups/review quarterly with team.
  • Manage and oversee global team’s project tracker to review capacity periodically.

  • Bachelor’s degree required.
  • 7+ years’ experience in financial services operations, HR capacity, or L&D preferred.
  • Knowledge of SharePoint and experience organizing a site.
  • Must have experience as an LMS administrator, having done system integrations, and an affinity learn and understand technical requirements.
  • Ability to translate business needs into LMS technical requirements.
  • Excellent problem solving ability and strong business acumen and client service focus.
  • Excellent Excel/Word/PowerPoint and database application skills.
  • Outstanding communication skills, verbal and written, as well as the capacity to expand, learn, and make a contribution.
  • Must have ability and previous experience building solid relationships across an organization, have strong business acumen and interpersonal skills, working with all levels of employees.
  • Outstanding analytical skills and a proven track record developing and using metrics.
  • Experience with vendor management, on and off-boarding, as well as general management to SLAs and contract review.
  • Experience working cross-culturally with diverse colleagues in a global environment.
  • Team-based, collaborative interpersonal style.
  • Results and process-oriented with emphasis on operational excellence.
  • Proven ability to prioritize and complete multiple complex projects simultaneously.
  • Successful candidates must have authorization to work in the U.S indefinitely. Sponsorship is not available.
