The Role: Senior Specialist, Coordinator Ratings Learning Operations

 

The Learning team’s Coordinator will report in to the Director of Ratings Learning Operations team and support all of the coordination needs for the Ratings Learning Team globally.  The Operations Learning team is a relatively new group within the organization.  By supporting the team and operation globally, this person will be a key player in the department’s mission to act as one global operations team to market, deliver, and report on all learning activities offered to S&P Global Ratings in an efficient, seamless, and cost effective manner.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage the global Learning team calendar for project tracking, updating it regularly and proactively reaching out to the team as needed to gather information to keep it relevant as a reference tool for all key projects.
  • Monitor the Ratings Learning mailbox to ensure that all inquiries are being addressed by the Learning team in a timely manner.
  • Process all invoices globally, liaising as required with vendors, Procurement, the Buying Center, and the Ratings Learning Partner team.
  • Drive standardization of process and efficiencies for the Vendor Management process, partnering with the Vendor Risk Management team and our internal Ratings Vendor Management team to decrease on and off boarding time for vendors with whom we engage to execute on the Ratings Learning strategy for the organization, as well as measure overall quality of vendor service and delivery.
  • Develop and standardize a process to conduct audits with the guidance of the Global Learning Operations Lead to manage vendors to SLAs and ensure invoice accuracy.
  • Provide general administrative support for the global team (ordering supplies, ensuring equipment works and has been ordered, manage access to SharePoint, process expenses etc.)    
  • Proctoring as required in NY office for Competence tests.
  • Send out global communications surrounding Learning with guidance for Director of Operations.

 

What We’re Looking For:

 

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree required.
  • Solid, demonstrable experience within financial services firms or equivalent military experience.
  • Solid problem solving ability and strong business acumen and client service focus.
  • Outstanding attention to detail.
  • Excellent Excel/Word/PowerPoint skills.
  • Strong communication skills, verbal and written, as well as the capacity to expand, learn, and make a contribution.
  • Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal skills working with all levels of employees.
  • Outstanding analytical skills and a proven track record developing and using metrics.
  • Experience working cross-culturally with diverse colleagues in a global environment.
  • Team-based, collaborative interpersonal style.
  • Results and process-oriented with emphasis on operational excellence.
  • Proven ability to prioritize and complete multiple complex projects simultaneously.
  • Experience within HR and/or operations preferred
