The Role: Relationship Manager

The Location: Hong Kong

The Team: S&P Global Market Intelligence, a division of S&P Global (NYSE:SPGI), is currently searching for Relationship Manager to join our Relationship Management team in Hong Kong.

Responsibilities:

  • The Relationship Manager will be the owner of designated client relationships and will be responsible to meet revenue growth quota through generating referrals, retaining clients and negotiating price increases for existing clients across a range of financial industries including Investment Banking, Private Equity, Investment Management, Commercial Lending and Corporates throughout Greater China.

Daily duties are not restricted to below:

  • Proactively engage clients with diagnostic conversations
  • Drive existing product consumption through active client outreach
  • Build, maintain and execute on strategy plans
  • Liaise with marketing, product development, new sales and client services to drive overall value to existing clients
  • Be the point of contact for all enquiries from existing clients
  • Negotiate annual renewal terms for all products

What We Are Looking For:

  • Confidence in negotiating terms and prices with clients
  • Strong strategic planning and execution abilities
  • Candidates with experience in financial services field are preferred
  • Established relationship building and time management skills
  • Strong communication and inter-personal skills
  • Ability to work independently as well as in a team-based environment

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree required (Upper second honors or equivalent is preferred)
  • 3+ years of direct experience working with B2B businesses (financial services sales background is preferred)
  • Fluent in oral and written English, fluency in Mandarin or Cantonese is preferred


Preferred Qualifications:

MBA, CFA or CPA candidates are preferred
