You will be responsible for input into the development of the business plan for a practice/geography and the execution of the commercial aspects of the plan as it relates to new customer acquisition. Involves the identification of opportunities with new clients, the prioritization of prospects and proactive outreach.
Accountable for the revenue growth objectives for the business unit/geography concerned are met, S&P Ratings division is growing and expanding its business in Brazil. You will be able to lead from the front and directly impact the future growth of the business.

It is expected that you will have solid sales track record, with solution sales experience. Also it is expected that would have good knowledge of Capital Markets and Financial Services industry overall.
Essential Accountabilities and Responsibilities
Manage the sales cycle end-to-end; including lead generation, qualification, commercial negotiations and post sales customer care and inquiries for new client relationships to ensure target financial goals are achieved.
Promote and insightfully sell appropriate product/service solutions and cultivate referrals from new customers.
Utilize and maintain Salesforce data to monitor pipeline and leads status for goal management.
Manage complex negotiations of commercial and contractual deals for new sales opportunities, and involve Head of Business Development as necessary.
Oversee transfer of relationship to Relationship Managers or Sales Operations (based on account category) once the client account has been integrated in to the firm.
Identify key decision makers and influencers with target prospects and execute sales strategy by collaborating with necessary stakeholders at S&P.
Monitor pipeline on a proactive basis and schedule pipeline reviews with Team Leader on monthly basis.
Provide direction and support to the Sales Ops team where necessary and assume direct responsibility for problem situations and more complex issues as appropriate
Effective coordination and marshalling of resources within the organization to ensure that we are able to execute upon deals in an effective and timely manner
Operates within the Regulatory and Compliance frameworks laid down by the organization
Skills and Qualifications
Broad based knowledge of Capital Markets and Financial Services Industry overall.
8+ years of successful track record in direct sales role.
Demonstrated strength in insight selling skills, strength in effective influencing, negotiation, interpersonal and communication
Demonstrated Strong public speaking skills and the ability to deal with people at all levels with an organization
A highly motivated self-starter; ability to work independently and creatively as well as within a team
Excellent networking skills are required in order to obtain market information necessary to anticipate customer needs and interpret the trends that are evolving in the markets S&P serves
