This role supports the Sales team in promoting and consultatively selling a portfolio of products to current and target customers within the Investment Banking/Private Equity Segment. Coordinate and provide sales demonstrations
Follow up to negotiate contract terms and pricing
Maintain focused approach to daily sales activity pipelines and systems based workflow (i.e. Salesforce.com)
Secure the executed contract and coordinating the transition of new clients to the Account Management group
Develop industry specific knowledge necessary to have credible diagnostic conversations
Engage in team selling to strategic accounts in conjunction with Sales Executives in other industries or Account Managers in existing accounts
Achieve target yearly sales quota
What We’re Looking For:
A driven sales individual with a successful background in a related field, selling complex products into complex spaces
Bachelor's degree required
Ideally experience in a sales or a client facing role (outside sales, prospecting, sales support, customer support)
Experience in dealing with challenging situations, i.e. objection handling, overcoming gatekeepers, etc.
Solid organization, multi-tasking and prioritization skills
Strong communication skills, both verbal and written with the ability to engage a senior level audience
Strong MS office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) skills are required, and any knowledge of CRM databases (such as Salesforce.com) would be advantageous
