The Role: Associate Editor, TMT Research (Telecommunications, Media & Technology)
The Location: Charlottesville
The Team: We are editors and analysts who cover TMT news in the US and worldwide. We work with colleagues in Manila, Islamabad and the U.S. to get news analysis and sector research posted.
Our team provides workflow oversight and editorial decision-making. Do you love coordinating with writers and editors? In this role, you will do just that: ensure coverage of our sectors is written and posted to our online platform in a timely fashion.

Editing articles, research reports, and marketing materials as needed
Vetting math in spreadsheets, tables and graphs; checking correspondence with text
Communicating effectively with analysts and production staff regarding any questions of fact, mathematics or other clarifications
Stay up to date with knowledge of covered industries
Expand technical expertise by learning evolving systems and platforms
What we’re looking for:
4+ years of experience in a media setting
Outstanding written and oral English-language skills
Familiarity with financial/business math concepts
Ability to multi-task while following a flexible schedule to meet deadlines
Fluent in journalism concepts
Strong editorial skills
