Position Description: S&P Global is seeking a Program Manager to support the Digital Infrastructure team, reporting to the IT COO.  The Program Manager provides program management support to the COO and CIO, managing projects and initiatives supporting the overall Digital Infrastructure Strategy.  This role is integral to the success of the organization and enabling capabilities across the CIO organization.  A successful candidate will work closely with Digital Infrastructure leadership, assist with prioritization of initiatives and own multiple operational activities enabling successful technical delivery.

This role: will be part of a dynamic team that manages all IT Business and Financial processes for the Digital Infrastructure organization.

This position: is based in New York, New York.

Key Accountabilities:

  • Participate in the development of the Digital Infrastructure strategy, interfacing with multiple stakeholders to communicate the strategy
  • Lead departmental employee engagement initiatives, working closely with Employee Relations, HR, Technical Leaders and Engagement Ambassadors
  • Serve as key stakeholder for the overall technology communications plan, interfacing closely with Corporate Communications and Technical Leaders
  • Develop and implement a Documentation and Process Repository for the Digital Infrastructure COO Office
  • In partnership with Leadership, develop and execute key talent strategies including Campus strategies, recruiting programs, talent development leadership programs and location based strategies
  • Own the relationship with IT Audit, Compliance and Risk, serving as the key point of contact and ensuring all technology open items are addressed
  • Manage special projects related to governance and operations


  • Bachelor’s degree in the field of computer science, management information systems, or business with experience in technology
  • Advanced degree strongly desired
  • 5 years’ plus work experience preferred
  • ITIL v3 foundation certification strongly desired
  • Demonstrated thought leadership in infrastructure services across multiple channels
  • Demonstrated experience in strategic activities and leading cross-functional projects
  • Successful track record in working in a global, multi-client environment.
  • Ability to create constructive relationships, influence, and communicate across various organizational teams, both technical and business focused
  • Exceptional analytical, conceptual, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment.
  • Experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment.
  • Proven analytical and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail and accuracy
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multi-task and prioritize in a dynamic work environment
  • Outstanding presentation and interpersonal skills, including the ability to interact effectively with senior management
