The Role: Manager Quality Engineering
The Location: Islamabad, Pakistan
The Team: As part of Quality Engineering team, you will communicate and own the creation and maintenance of the overall road map and quality assurance direction for both internal and new product systems. These products are directly associated to revenue growth. Manager QE directs both QA and Software Development professionals in the design and development of QA methods for Databases, Enterprise Applications, and Product Applications. The team is in geographically located in Pakistan, USA, India, Canada, Paris & Argentina.

Manage human capital resources and directly lead quality assurance and metric architecture projects and monitoring project plans
Present reports, communications and quality assurance training materials providing recommendations for actions necessary to achieve desired results
Ensure team members are adhering to procedures and policies when selecting methods, techniques and evaluation criteria for obtaining results
Manage staff through the creation and maintenance of the overall roadmap and quality assurance direction for both internal and new product systems
Review automation, manual, and performance tests and make suggestions for ways to improve quality
Requires thorough technical, analytical and operational knowledge within the QA/software testing discipline. Accountable for test strategies to continuously improve the quality of our various products including build out of automation test suite.
Analyze product requirements and ensure the testing strategy is aligning a risk-based test approach mitigating risk exposure within all phases of testing; utilizing automated testing tools to continuously build automated regression test suite.
Collaborate effectively within scrum team working with both technical and non-technical team members. Ensure Definition of Done (DOD) is complete before signing off stories.
Implement improvements, which may require ingenuity and creativity, within quality assurance program and operational systems with measureable quality indicators of the product.
Build and maintain status reports to highlight state of patching, upcoming patches, impacts/concerns, etc.
Coordinate business application testing within QA for S&P Global strategic projects.
Work on problems of moderate scope where analysis of situations or data requires a review of various factors.
What We’re Looking For:
8 years of relevant experience in Quality assurance & testing, including min 2-3 years of people management experience
Proficient with software development lifecycle (SDLC) methodologies like Agile, QA methodologies, defect management system, and documentation.
Solid command of essential testing knowledge & experience on database testing (SQL preferred)
Experience in automation, automation frameworks and automation delivery.
Bachelor's/PG degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or equivalent.
