S&P Global Market Intelligence

Role: Manager

Grade: 10A

Location: Ahmedabad

The Team: SPGMI Market Data content team collects and validates data using search tools, press releases, company websites, stock exchange websites and regulatory filings with a view to provide in-depth, accurate and timely Index and Securities data that supports technical analysis of market participants by providing important inputs necessary for computation of Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) including metrics like index total return, securities total return, dividend yields, market capitalization, stock volatility etc.

The Impact: This role will influence the Market Data that is used by our customers such as Portfolio Manager, Investment Managers etc. It involves working with the team members and other Managers across the locations and working with scrum and content initiatives teams to work on content automation projects.

•    Manage multiple operations support teams/group for a range of data/content management activities. 
•    Responsible for day to day operations of the team and interact with employees daily and guide them to work on team priorities.
•    Conduct regular team meetings.
•    Effective co-ordination and constructive relationship with colleagues in different locations.
•    Create reports to update on team's progress to next level Management
•    Identify individual strengths to appropriately delegate work amongst the team.
•    Manage data/content management projects or initiatives important to the business.
•    Identify/drive lean and automation projects.
•    Facilitates business governance team across assigned area/region.
•    Manage the performance review process, as well as talent development and management.
•    Identify individual strengths to appropriately delegate work amongst the team.
•    Ensure clear and seamless communication across levels and teams.

What we’re looking for:

•    Functional and Business Knowledge:     
•    Good verbal and written communication skills
•    Thorough knowledge of business and data/content management objectives.
•    Possesses strong analytical skills and out of box thinking.

Problem Solving:

•    Solve a variety of problems within their operational setting.
•    Provide solutions based on best practices and existing precedents.
•    Coordinate and manage projects from start to finish.

Basic Qualifications:

•    Excellent leadership skills and people management skills.
•    Required to work in rotation/night shifts as per business requirement

Eligibility Criteria:

•    Assistant Manager who have completed 24 months in present designation & division.
•    Existing managers can also apply for a lateral move.
