The Role: Data Researcher - Ratings Data/Content Management 

The Location: Centennial, CO

The Impact:  As a Data Researcher you will work with a global team researching and managing S&P Corporate & Government, Structured Finance and U.S. Public Finance debt issuance data —ensuring quality, completeness and integrity.  Your primary focus will be U.S. Public Finance.  You’ll be tasked with executing current processes, utilizing various applications and adhering to regulatory requirements and internal business rules.   You’ll work to enhance day-to-day operations to improve accuracy and efficiency.  Your work will provide upper management with the data necessary to make key business decisions. 

The Team/The Business: You’ll become an integral part of the Market Issuance Data team, ensuring quality data for consumption by downstream products and investors. The ideal candidate is joining an international team where exposure to exciting new opportunities and processes occur on a daily basis.    

 The Career Opportunity:  We are offering a unique opportunity to develop a deeper understanding of the Debt Issuance Markets, where you’ll hone technical skills through integration in expansive data research and projects.  

Requirements:

  • Basic understanding of the financial markets (Corporate, Financial Services, Sovereigns and Structured Finance), knowledge of Credit Rating process preferred
  • Problem solving and analysis skills
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills with a particular focus on customer service
  • SQL knowledge a plus
  • Microsoft Office skills to include Excel, PowerPoint and Word.
  • Demonstrated ability to self-manage, take initiative and meet deadlines with limited supervision
  • 0-2 years of experience within a financial services environment in Operations and/or Data Organization
  • BA/BS Required – preferably in Accounting, Finance, Economics or Mathematics
