The Role: SQA Engineer

The Team: The selected candidate will be part of S&P Global Technology’s Brokerage, Research, Sales & Trading team. SQA Engineer is responsible for functions and the Business to ensure the quality delivery of our products. scalable solutions by working directly with the product development team.

The Impact: You will work with our global team of GMG and will primarily focus on the quality of our highly available applications by means of manual testing and building solutions to test applications.

Responsibilities:

• Understand the requirements, specifications, user documentation, help files, and other project documentation to assure the quality of the products and tests to be developed.
• Apply, design & develop automated testing strategies, and build automated scripts.
• Execute test scripts, analyze failures, report defects & generate test execution reports.
• Test Automation for various test scenarios and acceptance tests.
• Collaborating with Product Owners and Software Developers to develop solutions.

What We’re Looking For:

• SDET / QA Automation Engineer with 5-8 years of experience in test automation using Selenium with Java and C#.
• Experience in BDD using SpecFlow, Cucumber, and Gherkin.
• Experience in Performance Testing using JMeter.
• Experience in API and GUI automation testing.
• Experience in Rest Sharp library using API automation.
• Advanced Knowledge of OOP/OOD, Design patterns, and SOLID principles.
• Good understanding of STLC, Testing Pyramid & SDLC.
• Basic knowledge of databases like MS SQL Server or similar.
• Experience of working “AGILE + DevOps” process management methodology.
• Experience with modern DevOps tools like Git, TeamCity, TFS, etc.
• Ability to work in a team-oriented environment, and can work independently
• Strong written and verbal communication and presentation skills

The following experience would be advantageous:

• ISTQB certification
• Prior Experience with the AWS platform is a plus.
• Knowledge of Splunk is a plus.
